Dear fans of Nadia,

This is the first time I am writing an appeal to you all. I am glad that with the permission of Mr. Ziert and the strong support from Michael Bowes, I am able to participate in this special project to support Nadia's charity work to help Romanian orphans. 

Like many of you, for more than 20 years Nadia has been the main inspiration of my life and works, in which the courage of her life and works has given me strength to accomplish some of special tasks and duties for my homeland. My amateur drawings career was also launched since then. All these years I thanked Nadia so many times on newspapers and message boards and even writing letters. Yet, later I realized that with letters or words on message boards, would not do her much good than action taken by us to repay what she had given to us. 

Sure Nadia has and still continue to give us her best, and continue to contribute her endless duties on motivating us.  Furthermore, she did so many charity works to help countless people in so many countries. I do strongly feel that Nadia would need all the supports from every one of us from all over the world. I had told Michael Bowes of my thoughts about contributing to the Romanian orphanage with what we can do the best with our own painting and we got the approval from Mr. Ziert to auction our painting in IGHOF Induction Dinner. I do not know how the result would be, but at least we had tried. I have thoughts of for those people who are same as me that had been inspired by Nadia to draw, if everyone of us can contribute at least one of our paintings of any kind, and send to Mr. Ziert and later to be auction for charity funds, maybe with all of our support we can make some different. 

For those who do not draw you would not be left aside either, every one of us can do something in other ways. I had seen what the late Princess Diana Memorial Foundation, had continue to contribute to the rest of the world. I would love to see that maybe, a Nadia Comaneci charity foundation, to be formed to have a center collection for the funds and distribution to support all of Nadia's charity works. 

I do believe in a saying that a little sand from everyone could cumulate into a big mountain. I do think a dollar would not mean too little, a thousand would not mean too big, but everyone with every effort you contribute, in total, would mean a great different. This is the time for us to do not just wordings but action to repay what Nadia has given us by pay it forward to others. I believe in the good nature of every fans of Nadia, you all had selected someone is so unique and special to the world as your idol. Now it is time for us to take action to make her legend more meaningful and the 25^th anniversary of her first perfect ten to be a more special one. Every one of you, please show what you can do in return for what Nadia has given us! I hope every one of you will at least try.
